WWE NIL recruit to stand trial for sexual battery charge
AJ Ferrari, a WWE NIL recruit, will head to court next week to stand trial for a sexual battery charge after he was accused of sexual assault in July.
Police issued a warrant for Ferrari’s arrest on August 3, and he posted a bail of $25,000 the following day before pleading not guilty on August 11.
According to KOKH FOX 25, a judge has declared there is “probable cause to believe that a crime was committed and that the defendant committed the crime.”
Ferrari will appear in court for a trial on December 6. This past July, Ferrari was dismissed from the Oklahoma State University wrestling team after the allegations first surfaced.
