Shotzi Blackheart’s father passes away | Wrestling News
Shotzi Blackheart has an up and down week as she went from the high of defending the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles to the low of losing her father.
At Thursday’s NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver – Night 2, Blackheart and Ember Moon successfully retained the gold over Candice LeRae and Indie Heartwell.
On Sunday, the WWE NXT star shared the news that she lost her father. You can see some of her tweets about the loss below. Our thoughts are with Shotzi and her family during this difficult time.
I got the news early yesterday morning that my dad passed. This is extremely painful. I see all the caring messages and I really appreciate them but I am just far too overwhelmed to respond to them all.
