Serena Deeb updates fan on her recent knee injury – Diva Dirt

NWA Women’s World Champion, Serena Deeb took to Twitter to update the wrestling world on her knee injury. Deeb posted a picture of her in a wheelchair and a heavily bandaged knee with the comment;

“Update on my knee…I had a scope done and it went really well. I’ll be back before you know it. Thank you all for the support and concern.”

Deeb is a solid fixture in the AEW women’s division. Since signing with the company last year she wrestled in some of the promotion’s best matches. Her last match with Riho on the February 17th edition of Dynamite was a fantastic outing and brilliant first-time encounter. Riho defeated Deeb in the first round of the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament.

Deeb is featured in NWA’s comeback video along with former NWA women’s champion, Thunder Rosa and Kamille. The promotion returns later this month for their first pay-per-view since last year’s Hard Times. Unfortunately, Deeb won’t be part of the show as her recovery could take up to six weeks. Hopefully, we will see Deeb involved in the NWA relaunch in some capacity on March 21st at Back for the Attack.

All at Diva Dirt wish Serena Deeb a safe and speedy recovery and can’t wait to see her back in the ring very soon.
