Paul Wight took some questions from the media after AEW Revolution.
Here are some notes from the post-show press conference:
– Wight enjoyed the show, especially the tag team royale, the cinematic match and the main event.
– He talked about how different the atmosphere is than WWE. Wight mentioned that he will still be involved with the Special Olympics even though they work with WWE and he has more time to do movies and other projects.
– He listed the following wrestlers that he would like to work with: Darby Allin, Lance Archer, Luchasaurus, Wardlow, Brian Cage and he would like to team with Chris Jerico and Billy Gunn.
– Wight says Vince McMahon called him on the day he signed with AEW and said there is no animosity. McMahon wished him luck. Wight said he just needed a fresh start after 20 years in WWE.
We’ll have more notes up shortly.
