Juice Robinson No Longer Representing NJPW

Juice Robinson signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling following his exit from WWE in 2015. Robinson competed in NJPW’s annual G1 tournament, in addition to winning the tag team and the U.S. titles. Now, he is no longer working for New Japan.

Juice Robinson recently sat down with Sports Illustrated for a new interview. The former IWJP United States Champion revealed he is no longer contracted to New Japan Pro Wrestling.

“I’m no longer representing New Japan, and I want that to be clear. I carried that New Japan flag for seven years. I’ve got no unfinished business there. I sang that song and I danced that dance, and we’ve gone our separate ways. That’s in the rearview mirror. I’m totally free right now. I’ll fight whoever, wherever and whenever I want as long as it’s the right match against the right opponent on the right night of the week.”

Robinson made his AEW debut against longtime rival Jon Moxley tonight on Dynamite. The two squared off in a world title eliminator match. Robinson lost the match after Mox made him tap out to a Cross Armbreaker.
