Jim Ross Criticizes Current WWE Hall Of Fame For Being More Like A TV Show

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross is a veteran in the world of professional wrestling. He spent several years in WWE and has attended numerous Hall Of Fame ceremonies.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross discussed how much the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony has changed over the years. Ross said that it has changed from its original concept and is more like a television show. Ross added that only current Superstars who have impacted the pro wrestling business are inducted for the most part. He added that posthumous inductees are rare now.

“It seems like it lost a little luster in the entertainment side of the WWE Hall of Fame. I’m not bi***ing at the WWE Hall of Fame, it’s just a different positioning, it’s a part of a T.V. show. To have posthumous guests or inductees is not the lay of the land as far as Vince is concerned.”

The current WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will be taking place during WrestleMania weekend. It will have the inductees from 2020.
