Brodie Lee’s Wife Sends Heartfelt Tribute One Year After His AEW Debut

AEW presented a historic episode of Dynamite one year ago today. Cody Rhodes opened the show by himself with no lights on. By the end of the night, two new members of the AEW roster would debut.

Both Matt Hardy and Brodie Lee debuted during the March 18th, 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite. Brodie Lee tragically passed away before the year was over, and many are especially remembering the Exalted One today.

Amanda Huber posted a heartfelt tribute for her husband today. That debut was supposed to happen in Rochester, Brodie Lee’s hometown. It took place with zero live fans present instead. They rolled with things which is something Amanda is now doing without Brodie Lee, but she is eternally grateful for her AEW family.

One year ago.

You bet on yourself. (My money was always on you)

It wasn’t the debut you envisioned. Rochester would have went crazy. But it’s ok, you rolled with it.

You were the happiest I had seen you in years. You got to show the world what I always saw.

Life went off the rails and now it’s my turn to roll with it.

I’m forever thankful for @allelitewrestling place in our lives the past 365 days. They have shaped who I am and who our family is.

Best thing I can say to everyone out there…. work hard, chase your dreams, roll with the punches, and bet on yourself.

You know what that means.

Brodie Lee will be remembered forever as an amazing man, father, and a pro wrestler that everyone looked up to for more than just his size. His story is a sad one, but his legacy will live on through the Dark Order and his family who continues carrying on his name.

RIP Brodie Lee.
