Best wishes to Bill Eadie (Masked Superstar/Demolition Ax) as he deals with health issues | Wrestling News

We would like to send along best wishes to an all-time great professional wrestler Bill Eadie, aka Masked Superstar/Demolition Ax.

Lanny Poffo noted on Facebook that Eadie is dealing with heart issues and he’s asking fans for prayers.

Eadie wrestled as The Masked Superstar in Georgia and in the World Wide Wrestling Federation. He also wrestled as Bolo Mongol in Detroit and he had a short stint in 1986 as one of the Machines before being repackaged as Demolition Ax in 1987.

The team was considered by some to be a ripoff of The Road Warriors but Ax and Smash turned into one of the great tag teams of the 80s. Health issues forced Ax to step away in 1990 and Crush was brought in to replace him. Eadie continued to wrestle on the independent scene until a couple years ago.

Eadie (along with “Smash” Barry Darsow) is one of the names that fans point to as one of the glaring omissions in the WWE Hall Of Fame.
