Andrade El Idolo Undergoes Surgery For Torn Pectoral Muscle

Andrade El Idolo has been a prominent feature on AEW programming since his debut. He has been part of some crucial storylines and the story around his faction was just gaining traction. However, Andrade has been absent from AEW television for the past couple of weeks.

It seems Andrade El Idolo’s absence was due to a torn pectoral muscle he suffered a few months ago. Andrade took to Instagram to post a picture of himself from his hospital saying that he just underwent surgery.

“My first surgery I can’t believe it happened. A few months ago, I tore my pectoral muscle.

Thanks god! I could and wanted to finish my match. I kept working because I love the business but we know that many people do not value your effort, these days off I took the opportunity to go to Dr. #andrade #elidolo”

Professional wrestling is a risky business and it is sad to see any wrestler get injured. We send our wishes and prayers to Andrade El Idolo for a speedy recovery.
