Matthew Semelsberger finishes Jason Witt in just 16 seconds in their opening bout at UFC Vegas 21.
Matthew Semelsberger has established himself as a threat in the UFC welterweight division with a phenomenal16 second knockout of Jason Witt with a single right hand. Semelsberger wasted no time securing the TKO he’d predicting landing it in the first, instead of the second like he’d thought.
Following his victory, he spoke with Daniel Cormier and expressed that he would be open to another fight.
“I would probably take a fight on a week’s notice. I’ll go back and talk with my team, if the UFC has something come up go ahead and hit me up.”
Semelsberger debuted with the UFC last year against Carlton Minus with only two days’ notice at UFC Vegas 7 via the judge’s decision. Semelsberger has expressed his dissatisfaction with his debut in that he was not able to finish Minus. He has rectified the issue for himself though with the seventh fastest knockout in Welterweight history. Semelsberger advances to a professional record of 8-2 with the knockout.
