Betting odds for UFC Vegas 21: Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad.
The UFC Vegas 21 main event between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad is all systems go after both men successfully made weight Friday morning. Edwards, who is coming off a 20-month layoff, weighed in at 170.5 lb, while Muhammad made championship weight at 170 lb despite having just fought four weeks ago.
Edwards is a large betting favorite at -275, while the underdog Muhammad sits around +215. It’s clear that the oddsmakers believe this fight will likely go the full five rounds, with the over 4.5 rounds prop currently at -215.
The biggest betting favorite on the card at UFC Vegas 21 will be strawweight contender Angela Hill. “Overkill” is currently a heavy favorite at -380, with opponent Ashley Yoder coming back at +290. This bout is actually a rematch four years in the making, as the two fought back in 2017. Hill came away with the unanimous decision win. Yoder is coming off a win over Miranda Granger back in November, while Hill has dropped two-straight split decisions to Claudia Gadelha and Michelle Waterson.
For those unfamiliar with betting odds, they are easiest understood by assuming each bet is $100. For example, if a bettor chooses Edwards at -275, that means a $275 bet would return $100 if he wins. On the flip side, if one were to bet Muhammad at +215, a $100 bet would be needed in order to win $215 should Muhammad come away victorious.
