After exposing Shevchenko’s grappling weaknesses in the first round, Lee went right to work in the second, immediately taking the fight to the ground and locking Shevchenko in a triangle choke.
Lee used the triangle to her advantage, keeping a hold of her as she delivered elbows to the head and body and searched for an armbar.
Eventually, Lee locked in a straight armbar in the dying second of the second round to force the tap.
Lee started her UFC career 3-0, but she had dropped her last three fights entering this bout.
