Tom Brady posted a Twitter video that was a direct shot at all his skeptics and haters.
Tom Brady went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had championship expectations in mind. He fulfilled that goal by taking down a Kansas City Chiefs team led by the supposed next NFL GOAT in Patrick Mahomes.
But the Bucs didn’t have a perfect season. The team fell to 7-5 with a loss to the Chiefs back in November and were just fighting to make the postseason. That meant Brady had his vocal haters and skeptics, as usual.
We all know how the season ended and also know Brady isn’t one to forget. He released the perfect takedown of all his haters on Twitter with a short and to-the-point video.
Tom Brady seemingly can’t be stopped
The 43-year-old Brady has had skeptics since the day he got under center in the NFL. Plenty of talking heads thought he was done years ago and were wondering when he would retire. Yet here we are in 2021 discussing Brady winning a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers. Who ever would have thought that would happen?
The video puts several analysts on blast and you can clearly hear the voices of Max Kellerman and Shannon Sharpe among the haters. Those two are paid to express hot takes on a daily basis, but it doesn’t mean the players are ignoring what is said.
Brady has taken on a new, more fun persona down in Tampa. He no longer has to deal with the “Patriot Way” and proved that philosophy isn’t exactly a necessity to reach the mountaintop in the NFL.
At this point it is just a treat to continue seeing Brady play at such a high level. Generations of fans have watched him win for two decades and an NFL without Brady is going to be a weird sight.
