Texas football: Steve Sarkisian saves lives by way of Raising Cane’s

Steve Sarkisian might be #AllGasNoBrakes turning around the Texas football program, but he is not afraid to share the love with some Raising Cane’s either.

Steve Sarkisian is turning around the Texas football program and making friends with the Greater Austin Area in the process by way of Raising Cane’s.

Sarkisian and his wife Loreal purchased 500 meals from the chicken finger establishment and donated them to the Austin/Travis County Emergency Ops team, who distributed those meals to those in need. Whether you got The Box, The 3 Finger, The Sandwich or The Caniac Combo, you may not have a better meal in some time. One, it was Cane’s. And two, it was paid for by Sark.

The Sarkisians paid it forward in a beautiful, yet delicious way on Friday

The deep freeze throughout the country has hit Texas the hardest. While the Dallas/Fort Worth area seems to have gotten the worst of it, Austin has just experienced its coldest temperatures in a lifetime. People have been without power, heat and running water for the better part of a week now. If The Sarkisians can make someone’s day better with some Cane’s, then good job by them.

For those who have never had Cane’s before in their life, not only are you missing out, but you have yet to live. The chicken fingers just might be the greatest food ever created. Pair them with the crinkle cut fries and two helpings of Texas toast and you may not want to eat anything else in your entire life. Raising Cane’s was easily a top three thing for me at the University of Georgia.

Even operating with #AllGasNoBreaks, you can stop to help make a difference in someone’s life.
