Lakers: Kyle Kuzma has NSFW comment on LeBron James’ late-game dish

Kyle Kuzma had a hilarious quote when talking about staring down LeBron James for a pass on Friday against the Indiana Pacers.

The Los Angeles Lakers returned from the All-Star break on Friday night looking to regain ground in the Western Conference standings.

It will be a challenge, as big man Anthony Davis is being re-evaluated for right leg injuries in two weeks and will likely miss all eight games in that span. But, the Lakers are seeing tremendous growth from Kyle Kuzma, who stepped up off the bench to start in place of Davis.

With less than seven minutes remaining in regulation against the Indiana Pacers, Kuzma managed to drain back-to-back three-pointers off great passes from LeBron James. The last three-pointer came on an impressive dish from James to Kuzma in the corner.

Following the Lakers’ 105-100 victory, Kuzma was asked about that possession and he admitted that he was staring down James to pass him the ball. Well, that is the PG-version anyway.

Lakers: Kyle Kuzma gives the quote of the year after Los Angeles’ win over Indiana

Is this the quote of the year? Quite possibly, yes. Kuzma was on a hot streak, and he wanted to let James know to pass him the ball, because he was hitting nothing but net at that point in the game.

Kuzma had a tremendous game in Los Angeles’ return from the break. In 30 minutes of playing time, the 25-year-old scored 24 points (8-for-18 from field) and hauled in 13 rebounds while shooting 44.4-percent from the field and 50.0-percent from behind the arc.

With this performance in the books, Kuzma has now recorded a double-double in three consecutive games. He tallied 12 points and 11 rebounds on Feb. 28 against the Golden State Warriors and 25 points and 13 rebounds on March 3.

After this game against the Pacers, you can expect James to keep an eye open for Kuzma if he’s open from the three-point line on Monday night against the Warriors.
