Juwan Howard used a video of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green trash-talking his Michigan basketball program as bulletin board material fueling their hardcourt success.
Former Michigan State basketball star Draymond Green talked trash to Juwan Howard’s Michigan basketball program on video, and no, that did not work out for the NBA star in the slightest.
After Howard’s No. 2 Wolverines defeated the Spartans 69-50 on Thursday to win the Big Ten, the Michigan head coach was videotaped salsa dancing to celebrate the momentous occasion. Apparently, Howard has been collecting bulletin board material throughout the 2020-21 college basketball season. Michigan guard Mike Smith revealed this important information after the fact.
Juwan Howard has transformed Michigan basketball into a national power
Even with the Golden State Warriors forward saying he wished the Wolverines would never win a game, the Wolverines have emerged victorious in all but two during this season. Michigan will be one of the favorites to win the NCAA Tournament. Though the Wolverines have not won a national title since 1989, Howard has the Michigan program humming to the level it did under John Beilein.
So is Michigan above using petty bulletin board to win basketball games? No, because you can never put a price on winning. Look, Howard has the Michigan basketball team rolling and playing at an elite level quicker than anyone thought possible. As long as the Wolverines keep winning, no one will have a problem with Howard salsa dancing or anything of that nature.
Maybe Michigan State legend Green will refrain from trying to troll Michigan for the time being?
