Adidas Cold.Rdy Baselayer review: First Impressions

The Cold.Rdy Baselayer offers a simple design and is exactly what you need to get you through the cold winter months while you either work on your game on the course or on the driving range.

Made with Adidas’ Cold.Rdy technology, this base layer is designed for maximum warmth and to keep you dry in cold-weather rounds and contains a high mock neck for extra coverage.

Whether you want to layer up or keep it simple, the slim silhouette fit means the baselayer can fit under any shirt, vest, or jacket. Here, it is pictured with the Adidas Sleevless Hoodie on a milder day.

If you’re someone is conscious of their carbon footprint, the baselayer is made using Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials which is part of Adidas’ effort to reduce plastic waste.

Aidas Cold.Rdy Baselayer review: On The Course

I’m over 6ft and found the UK large in the Cold.Rdy baselayer is the perfect sizing, and you don’t have to worry about it being too short on your follow-through, as you do with some baselayers on the market.

I’m particularly someone who finds himself getting cold rather quickly and someone you’ll find in multiple layers on the golf course as soon as we hit the Autumn months.

As mentioned before, the baselayer is made using Adidas’ Cold.Rdy technology and fleece material and you can instantly feel the difference when in the colder winter weather.

Adidas Cold.Rdy Baselayer review

The Adidas Cold.Rdy baselayer is made using Raglan sleeves and shoulder construction which offers better freedom of movement in the golf swing, one of the keys for when I’m choosing my winter clothing.

The slight bugbear I have had is the sleeves hovering ever so slightly over my wrists, but that is potentially more down to personal preference.

Overall, I feel like this is a great addition to my winter wardrobe and will be worn whenever I step on the course, visit the driving range, or head for a practice session.

Adidas Cold.Rdy Baselayer review: The 19th hole

The Adidas Cold.Rdy Baselayer will get as much use off the course as it will on the course and is ideal for those who wish to carry on their outdoor adventures during the winter and stay warm in the process, like me.
