Fedor Holz is no stranger to being the last man standing in major poker tournaments. The two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner has more than $32.5 million in live poker tournament winnings alone. Now his online tally has increased by $124,456 thanks to taking down the GG Spring Festival H-37: $1,500 Sunday Marathon.

The tournament drew in a 466-strong crowd who created a guarantee-busting $664,050 prize pool. The top 63 finishers won a slice of this pot, and what a top 63 they were.
Dylan Linde, Brunno Botteon, and Aliaksei Boika were among the first players to cash. Guillaume Nolet, Rainer Kempe, Artur Martirosian, Ole Schemion, and Andras Nemeth progressed deeper but could not quite navigate their way to the final table.
Each of the nine finalists locked in a five-figure prize, but they all knew finishing on top of the pile came with a six-figure haul.
Russia’s “FishyFishz” saw their tournament end in ninth-place, with Mike Watson crashing out in eighth for a $16,596. It was checkmate for chess Grandmaster Ottomar Ladva in seventh-place, before “RobertCatesby” of Ireland busted in sixth for $29,513.

Holz must have fancied his chances at this stage as he was only four eliminations away from becoming the tournament’s champion. There was the not so insignificant matter of Timothy Adams being in the mix to contend with, however.
“ceasrio77” headed for the showers with the $39,356 fifth-place prize money under his belt, before the dangerous Adams bowed out in fourth and collected $52,482.
The ball was firmly in Holz’s court at this point, and he had one hand on the title when “Fantastik55” bowed out in third, a finish worth $69,986.
Only “raking-even” stood between Holz and yet another major online poker title. Holz, as you would expect in this situation, got the job done and his hands on $124,456 in prize money. raking-even walked away with their head held high, and with $93,329 reasons to be happy.
