Regarded a style of whisky developed and produced in Japan, which first began in 1870, the style of Japanese whisky is often associated with Scotch whisky more than any other major styles of the drink. Crafted with passion and delicately sealed, Japanese Suntory Whiskey are hand-crafted by artisans in an effort to present the true essence of Japanese nature.
“Kanzen” or complete, Hibiki Whisky is a harmonious combination of numerous malt and grain whiskies which are meticulously blended to create a full orchestra of flavours and aromas. Seductive, blossoming and enigmatic, the Hibiki Whisky celebrates an unrivalled art of blending, fine craftsmanship and a sense of luxury from the House of Suntory.
Established in 1989 to commemorate the brand’s 90th anniversary, Suntory Whisky has since been embraced as the paragon of The Art of Japanese Whisky, the very product of Japanese nature and her people. Deemed not only Japan’s most highly awarded blended usquebaugh, Hibiki Whisky is also among the most prestigious and honoured liquors in the world.
Reeling in the cherry blossom season with an all-new iteration of its most famous beverage, Japan-based brewing company Suntory presents a new flavour dubbed ‘Blossom Harmony’. Inspired by the symbolic flower, the beverage is made with its signature blend and is finished in barrels of cherry, making it the first Hibiki to be aged in sakura wood. Highly exclusive and rare, the whiskey boasts a unique scent similar to fully bloomed flowers found on a cherry tree.
Sealed in a sakura-decorated gift box featuring shades of pink, red and green, Hibiki “Blossom Harmony” will be available for sale on 25th May 2021 at select stores in Japan for an estimated ¥8,000 JPY (USD $77).
